    2021 Canada 1 oz. Silver Maple Leaf - Super Incuse, Reverse PF70, First Day of Issue
    The Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) made history in 2018 when they struck their Silver and Gold Maple Leafs with incuse designs.  The inward projecting relief provided a fascinating effect,
    especially when combined with the selective gilding and rhodium plating used on the 2019 and 2020 incuse maple issues.  However, starting in 2021 RCM is taking the term "incuse" to all-new depths!  These are the first ever Super Incuse Silver Maple Leafs, and they mark the
    debut of a new minting technology
    .  Previous incuse-struck coins featured a standard depth of 0.3 mm.  But thanks to the new pre-forming technology developed by RCM's Research and Development team, the beautiful maple leaf design on this coin's reverse was struck1.5 mm into the coin's surface! That is 5 times the depth of previous Incuse Maples!
    In addition, this coin has been graded a perfect Reverse PF 70 by NGC, and designated as First Day of Issue!  Not only that, but it is limited to a
    worldwide mintage of only 6000 coins
