This original playbill is autographed by Carol Channing — to me (Pam), in person, after the performance.
This is a rare autographed March 1978 playbill from the Broadway revival of the JERRY HERMAN and MICHAEL STEWART musical comedy hit "HELLO, DOLLY!" at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York City. (The revival opened March 5th, 1978 and ran for 147 performances.)
The musical starred CAROL CHANNING as "Mrs. Dolly
Gallagher
Levi", the role she originated in 1964
DETAILS: The 64 page playbill measures 5 1/2" X 9" inches and includes full production credits, cast list, synopsis of scenes, list of musical numbers, bios of each of the leading actors and members of the creative team, a photo of CAROL CHANNING with composer JERRY HERMAN and five production photos as well as a related article on Carol Channing's return to the Broadway stage.
The front cover was signed by EDDIE BRACKEN.
It has always been stored in a non-smoking home.
