The TR-6 Super-Overtone Triangle is something of a legend in the symphonic world. It first appeared on the scene in 1980 as a triangle designed specifically to deliver a wide range of spectral timbres — ideal attributes for symphonic performances relying on subtle sonic colorings in the context of such a massive array of instruments. Given it is made from Kanigen plating, here at Sweetwater we have found the TR-6 to produce gorgeously clear, brilliant overtones with a long decay and open resonance.
