You must not be part of an existing family group or have an active Nintendo Online service.

Step 3: An email will be sent from Nintendo with account activation details. Follow the instructions within the email and click the link to activate the
12 month subscription and be added to the family group.
Step 4: You're done! Nintendo Switch Online and all benefits will be available!
