These vintage pins and badges were prize toys. Each item was attached to a lightweight cardboard sheet in a numbered space on the sheet. In an area at the bottom of the sheet would be tickets that when opened would reveal the number of the prize the customer receives.  I had a couple of these paper prize toy sheets that were disintegrating with age. I removed the individual badges and pins.
These pins are cast metal with an attached pin. Most are sports related and some have an Olympics connection, showing the Olympic rings, the word Olympic, the Japanese and/or American flag and the sport.
Japan was allowed back in the Olympics in 1951 so it is possible some of these pins were produced at that time.
They reference summer and winter sports so most likely they were produced for Japanese children to collect…they are not Official Olympic pins.
This small embossed metal pin shows a swimmer (or possibly diver), a Japanese flag, and the Olympic rings.
The condition is unused, just as it came from the prize toy sheet. However, the metal is quite darkened with age.  The pin is almost 1 inch ( 2.54 cm) wide.
