Rare original son in service KIA gold star over blue star banner flag. Most of the gold star has faded to silver but remnants of gold are there. It has insect damage, staining , fading and fraying as shown. It in is delicate condition as shown. The hanging rod and braided string are strong. Flag measure 5 1/2” x 7 3/4”. Rod measures 9 1/2”. A rare original, and a poignant reminder of history.
